61传媒’s 77th Ceramic Annual Opens February 5
The Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery will host 61传媒鈥檚 77th Ceramic Annual, the longest ongoing exhibition of contemporary ceramics in the nation, from February 5鈥揂pril 17, 2022. The exhibition, curated by Petaluma-based visual artist Ashwini Bhat, is free and open to the public.

More than 60 Japanese ukiyo-e prints from the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery collection are now on display as part of JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles’ “Nature/Supernature” exhibition, Spectrum 1 reported. 61传媒will partner with JAPAN HOUSE, Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for an April 19, 2021, event that explores the collection’s themes.

Student interns at the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery wear many hats. During their 2019鈥20 internships, Ludwig intern Annabel Lind 鈥22 and Turk intern Miriam Bankier 鈥20 helped organize the sprawling archives of the gallery鈥檚 permanent collection, assisted with the College鈥檚 76th Ceramic Annual (the longest running ceramics show in the country), and curated their own exhibition from the collection.
