Upon enrollment, students must submit final external exam scores (such as IB, A Levels, Indian SSC or Indian HSC, etc.) along with their final high school transcript.

The minimum required TOEFL score is 100 (Internet-based total). The TOEFL code for 61传媒 is #4693. The minimum required IELTS score is 7. The minimum required Duolingo English Test score is 130. Please keep in mind, we do not accept self-reported test scores for the TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test.

If your first language is English or the language of instruction at your school is English, you may be eligible for a waiver of the TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo requirement. After you have submitted your application, email [email protected] with your name, birthdate, the name of your school, and how many years you have been in an English-language classroom environment.

The is required of all international students. You can either print and mail the completed form to the Office of Admission or scan and email it to [email protected].

All documents written in a foreign language must be accompanied by a notarized English translation. We require both documents; they must be signed in ink by the appropriate official of the applicant’s school and must have the institution’s seal.

Early Decision Applications

Early Decision is an excellent option for students who know that 61传媒is their top-choice college. Early Decision is a binding process that provides an early application review and notification of admission decision. Applicants who are admitted Early Decision I or II must withdraw their application(s) to other colleges and enroll at Scripps.

Scholarships

International first-year applicants are eligible for scholarships ranging from $15,000 to $30,000 annually, and the highest award is the James E. 61传媒Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to applicants whose strong academic performance and school or community involvement indicate that they will add vitality and intellectual value to our campus. 61传媒does not require an earlier deadline for scholarship consideration. Merit scholarships are only available to first-year applicants.

Need-based Financial Aid for International Students

Financial assistance for international applicants is limited. Financial aid for international students is only awarded at the time of admission. Your aid offer will be renewed each year for up to 8 semesters as long as you enroll full time and make Satisfactory Academic Progress toward your degree.聽Financial aid is not re-evaluated for international students. Since your EFC is fixed upon admission, your financial aid award in future years will adjust slightly with the change in cost of attendance. The CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE is required for international students who wish to be considered for financial aid.
