Congratulations to Madison Seto ’21, student winner of the 61ýOlive Oil label competition! A biochemistry major by day and calligrapher with her own Etsy shop by night, Seto was inspired to enter the competition because of her love of 61ýand her involvement in the olive harvest and other environmental initiatives on campus.

“From the beginning to the end. . . the olive oil initiative is truly a labor of love. It was student activists that saved our olive trees and have made way for this initiative,” says Seto. “Every olive was hand-picked by caring volunteers, the labels were crafted out of love, the oil is pressed by a small, family-owned business . . . [and] the profits from this initiative will be reinvested into this community, funding future environmental initiatives.”
