Catherine Allen 鈥�20 and her doubles partner Caroline Cox (CMC) won the NCAA Division III Women鈥檚 Tennis Doubles Championship.

Assistant Professor Sarah Budischak鈥檚 Research on Parasitic Worms Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B

Assistant Professor of Biology Sarah Budischak co-authored a study published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B that examines why parasitic worms survive longer in some hosts鈥� intestines than in those of others.

61传媒 Announces Three Endowed Chairs for 2019

The 61传媒 Board of Trustees has announced the appointments of Ken Gonzales-Day, professor of art, to the Fletcher Jones Chair in Art, Julia Liss, professor of history, to the Mary W. Johnson and J. Stanley Johnson Professorship in the Humanities, and Sheila Walker, professor of psychology, to the inaugural appointment of the Laura Vausbinder Hockett Endowed Professorship, effective July 1, 2019.

At the start of the 2015鈥�16 academic year, we interviewed a few first-year students as they were moving into their residence halls about why they chose 61传媒and what their plans were for their college careers. Now, four years later, we鈥檝e caught up with some of those seniors to see how their plans shaped up, how they鈥檝e grown, and where they鈥檙e off to after graduation.

To launch the summer 2019 season of 61传媒Presents, 61传媒 will partner with PEN America and the Music Center to host 鈥淭he Good Immigrant: An Evening of Storytelling鈥� at Grand Park on Tuesday, June 18, at 6 p.m.
