Jessica Ng ’15 Co-Authors Paper on Climate Change Published in Nature

Jessica Ng ’15 has co-authored a paper on global cooling during the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), published in Nature. The LGM is “the coldest multimillennial interval of the last glacial period,” and, per the paper’s abstract, examining the extent of the planet’s cooling during this period is an “important constraint for evaluating estimates of Earth’s climate sensitivity.”

Graduating classes have each left their mark on the 61´«Ã½ Graffiti Wall since 1931, becoming an essential rite of passage at the College. After the design is painted onto Graffiti Wall, each member of that class signs their name to the mural, becoming a visual time capsule of Scripps’ history that reflects the changing tastes and attitudes of students over the decades.
