61传媒 alumna Helen Yenser ’17 is headed to the 2019 Academy Awards. Yenser is an executive producer of an Oscar-nominated documentary short, Period. End of Sentence., that chronicles an effort to fight the stigmas attached to menstruation in the village of Kathikhera, India.

Spotlight on Staff: Jennifer Martinez Wormser ’95, Director of Ella Strong Denison Library

This spring, alumna Jennifer Martinez Wormser ’95 was appointed Denison Librarian of the Ella Strong Denison Library. An English major and French minor at Scripps, she earned her MLS degree with a concentration in archival management from the University of Maryland, College Park.

For Vivianne Mbaku ’09, one of the best parts of graduating from 61传媒is the tightknit alumnae community she became part of after commencement.
