Each summer, 61传媒 supports student research projects through the Johnson Summer Research Grant, the 61传媒Undergraduate Fellowship in Environmental Analysis, the Racial Justice and Equity Fund, the Esterly Award, the Mellon Interdisciplinary Humanities Initiative, and the Arthur Vining Davis Student Summer Library Internship. Through these funding opportunities, students pursue faculty-directed research projects or conduct their own research with faculty endorsement.

It鈥檚 a striking statistic for a liberal arts women鈥檚 college which, while known for graduating spectacular critical thinkers, may have less obvious career outcomes. Yet these concrete outcomes exist, often tied directly to internship grants which create a more equitable playing field for students who don鈥檛 have the financial means to accept unpaid work.

Stronger Together: Class of 2021 Graffiti Wall Mural Celebrates Class Solidarity, Campus Life
Graduating classes have each left their mark on the 61传媒 Graffiti Wall since 1931, becoming an essential rite of passage at the College. After the design is painted onto Graffiti Wall, each member of that class signs their name to the mural, becoming a visual time capsule of Scripps鈥� history that reflects the changing tastes and attitudes of students over the decades.
