Jessica Ng ’15 Co-Authors Paper on Climate Change Published in Nature

Jessica Ng ’15 has co-authored a paper on global cooling during the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), in Nature. The LGM is “the coldest multimillennial interval of the last glacial period,” and, per the paper’s abstract, examining the extent of the planet’s cooling during this period is an “important constraint for evaluating estimates of Earth鈥檚 climate sensitivity.” The results of the study suggest greater climate sensitivity than previous research has demonstrated. Ng is a member of the Geosciences Research Division at 61传媒Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, California.
