Associate professor of economics Roberto Pedace speaks on “Minimum Wage Policy and Unemployment Duration” at the Malott Commons Tuesday Noon Academy on February 22. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Pedace’s research addresses a variety of important public policy issues, including the effects of immigration on domestic labor markets and the impact of minimum wage on job training and unemployment. His work appears in such publications as Southern Economic Journal, American Journal of Economics and Sociology, Contemporary Economic Policy, Journal of Sports Economics, and others.
The Tuesday Noon Academy is a weekly, one-hour series of lectures held in the Hampton Room of the Malott Commons. The doors will open at 11:45 a.m. Bring your own lunch or purchase lunch at the Malott Commons Dining Hall. Dessert and coffee are provided.
