Kaila Finn ’20 was  about the campaign and election of Will Haskell, the 22-year-old Connecticut State Senator of the 26th district. According to the article, Haskell is among a growing number of millennials who participate in and run for government—a trend attributed to the 2016 election results. Finn served as communications director during Haskell’s bid. She sees the upsurge in youth participation in electoral politics as a sleeping giant: “I think in 5–10 years that’s going to be the most dominant force in politics,” says Finn, who also spearheaded the operation to secure former President Obama’s endorsement of the candidate.
