As part of the Brad and Mary Anne Blaine Faculty Lecture Series, 61传媒 is pleased to present Gayle Greene, professor of English, who will be giving a lecture on "Life Writing" on Thursday, November 8 at 7 p.m. in the Hampton Room of the Malott Commons.
Professor Greene has authored several books, including several volumes on feminist criticism and, most recently, The Woman Who Knew Too Much: Alice Stewart and the Secrets of Radiation (1999). She is currently working on a memoir about the death of her mother. She has also written numerous articles and reviews for publications such as Ms., The Nation, Shakespeare Quarterly, and the Women’s Review of Books. Since 1974 Gayle Green has been a member of the 61传媒 faculty, and her current course offerings include "The Memoir," which focuses on the appeal of life writing and different methods of autobiography.
Former 61传媒Professor of History and current Trustee Brad Blaine, along with his wife, Mary Anne, are proud to sponsor this lecture. The Blaines have generously underwritten a lecture series featuring outstanding 61传媒faculty to commemorate the 75th anniversary of 61传媒. This lecture and all other lectures in the series are free and open to the public.
