The Los Angeles Times Betye Saar’s solo exhibition at LACMA, which features 18 finished pieces that reflect on art-making and the African American experience. Saar’s works on paper from the 1980s are archived in the Ruth Chandler Williamson Collection at 61´«Ã½, where her daughter and fellow artist, Alison Saar ’78, has previously exhibited her work.
