The Los Angeles Times the work of Ken Gonzales-Day, Fletcher Jones Chair in Art and professor of art, in its review of two permanent collections currently on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles. Gonzales-Day’s photographs depict two trees that were the sites of lynchings in California. Works from his ongoing series, Erased Lynching, have also been recently acquired by the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and other prestigious museums for their permanent collections.
