With construction of the new Student Health Services building completed this past summer, the Wellness Center, Monsour Counseling, and Health Education Outreach are now in the same building. This logical consolidation means that students can go to a single center for any health-related concerns. The Student Health Service encourages the three organizations to work together to make sure that they fulfill all of the health needs of the students.
Lisa Nagy ’08 raved about the new center: “It just makes more sense to have them in the same place. These services should be working together.” The new facility, not only offers more space and better labs, it has the advantage of a central location near the Huntley Bookstore, making it
more convenient to students from all The Claremont Colleges.
