Pin Design by Katy Lind ’06 Commemorates Women’s March

61传媒 alum Katy Lind ’06 and business partner Nate Stevens have created a decorative pin available for sale online to support women’s rights causes and in anticipation of the Women’s March scheduled for January 21, 2017, in the nation’s capital and in communities聽 across the U.S. and worldwide. Their product鈥攄ubbed “the little pin with the big goal”鈥攈as gotten the attention of , and sales are already brisk in the U.S. and abroad, according to Lind.
The enterprising duo, who also gained attention during the U.S. presidential election for their venture, were recently interviewed on , as well as other about the new venture, Pincause. Pincause’s flagship product features the American Sign Language symbol for love and was designed using a variety of different colors to symbolize the unity of women of all backgrounds, colors, shapes, sizes, and beliefs as they participate in women’s marches across the country.聽
In addition to the march in Washington, D.C., solidarity marches are expected to be held in more than 100 cities nationwide and abroad. Funds from the sales of the pins will be donated to the American Civil Liberties Union and Planned Parenthood, according to the
