Filmmaker Gerry Rogers wasn’t sure if this was going to be her last film, so she brought a camera home and with her partner, Peg, started filming what would be not a film about breast cancer but a roller coaster ride of love, fear, humor, and life. Internationally award-winning My Left Breast will leave you laughing through your tears.
Rogers has made over 20 films and won several international awards. Two years ago she was elected the first out lesbian as an NDP Member of the House of Assembly for Newfoundland and Labrador. She’s not sure how all this has happened!
