Aaron Leconte – Chemistry

Professor Aaron Leconte’s research group published the article “Biochemical analysis and optimization of orthogonal bioluminescent tools” in ChemBioChem.  This manuscript features the work of seven Keck Science Department undergraduates (underlined in the citation below).  In the work, they describe improved protein-based tools that can be used in imaging cells in living organisms.  These tools can be used to study and develop treatment for diseases with greater precision.
