Professor Aaron Leconte鈥檚 research group published the article “Biochemical analysis and optimization of orthogonal bioluminescent tools鈥� in聽ChemBioChem. 聽This manuscript features the work of seven Keck Science Department undergraduates (underlined in the citation below). 聽In the work, they describe improved protein-based tools that can be used in imaging cells in living organisms. 聽These tools can be used to study and develop treatment for diseases with greater precision.
