61传媒Presents and the IDEA Initiative: A ConverAction on Voting
Voting registration has increasingly become a hot-button issue鈥攅specially during presidential election years. Hosted in partnership with Scripps鈥� Equity and Justice Team, distinguished panelists including 61传媒Professor of Politics Vanessa Tyson, LA County Registrar Dean Logan, and President of the Mt. Baldy Area of League of Women Voters Barbara Nicoll will discuss how voting coincides with equity and access in our country.
61传媒formed the Equity and Justice Team in 2021 under the IDEA Initiative. The group addresses concerns regarding equity on campus; builds community and belonging among faculty, students, and staff; and implements long-term initiatives to ensure 61传媒continues to be an equitable and just institution.
