Alejandra Campoverdi is a nationally-recognized women鈥檚 health advocate, author, founder, producer, and former White House aide to President Obama. Alejandra is the author of the upcoming book FIRST GEN聽(Grand Central Publishing). She produced and appeared in the groundbreaking PBS documentary聽Inheritance, and founded the聽LATINOS & BRCA聽awareness initiative in partnership with Penn Medicine鈥檚 Basser Center for BRCA. Previously, Alejandra served in the Obama White House, initially as Special Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, and later as the first White House Deputy Director of Hispanic Media. Alejandra holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University鈥檚 Kennedy School of Government and graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California. She currently serves on the boards of Harvard’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy; the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino; and the California Community Foundation.
