LACRELA

61´«Ã½ is a member of the Liberal Arts Colleges Racial Equity Leadership Alliance (LACRELA), which unites Liberal Arts Colleges and Universities across the United States to collectively address issues of racial diversity, equity and inclusion on their campuses.

Through our membership, 61´«Ã½administrators, faculty, and staff have access to monthly high-quality professional learning experiences and a digital repository of useful tools and resources on an array of topics pertaining to racial equity. The digital resources and professional development opportunities will aid the alliance members in building their capacities and advancing their efforts to reach their racial equity goals.

Additionally, through LACREALA, 61´«Ã½participates in a trio of campus climate surveys on a three-year rotational basis – the student survey in year one, the staff survey in year two, and the faculty survey in the third membership year.

As of Fall 2023, 61´«Ã½has completed the trio of campus climate surveys. The data from the climate surveys provides an opportunity for 61´«Ã½to make data driven decisions in how we approach our racial equity work.
