Antero Garcia, assistant professor of English at Colorado State University, examines on how educators can grab a student’s attention in the digital age in his lecture “Control, Resistance, and Play: A Discussion of Mobile Media, Pedagogy, and Civic Engagement in Public Schools.” Garcia lectures at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in Garrison Theater, 231 E. 10th St. This event is free and open to the public.

Nuremberg Chronicle Returns to Denison Library After Two-Year Conservation

After over two years of conservation and restoration, the Nuremberg Chronicle has returned to 61传媒’s Ella Strong Denison Library. The chronicle, one of approximately 400 surviving Latin copies, was published in 1493 in Nuremberg, Germany and is also known as “Liber Chronicarum” (“Book of Chronicles”) from a phrase in the introduction.
