Guadalupe Gutierrez, deputy prosecutor for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe in southern Arizona, lectures on “Evolving States of Criminal Jurisdiction in Indian Country” at noon on April 11 in 61传媒’s Hampton Room, Malott Commons, 345 E. 9th St. The event is free and open to the public.
Gutierrez will lead a discussion with the audience following her lecture. She has a doctorate degree from the University of Michigan in clinical psychology, as well as a law degree from the University of Arizona. As an attorney, Gutierrez has focused on constitutional law, immigration and Indian law.
