Recalling Spirits听is more than a campfire ghost story or haunted house鈥攊t鈥檚 a breakthrough arts performance drawing on the local histories of those who came before us. In collaboration with听Harvard composer and music producer Micah Huang, 61传媒Professor of Music听Hao Huang听integrates narration, acting, soundscape, and body movement for an unforgettable night of storytelling acknowledging past spirits of Southern California鈥檚 Indigenous peoples and the lore of Claremont itself. Featured partners include Gabrielino-Shoshone tribal council听spiritual leader听Javier Ramirez听and听Scott Orellana Ingl茅s Scoggins, strategic partnership and development coordinator at Anahuacalmecac University Preparatory High.
