Claremont Concert Orchestra Spring ’23 Concerts
The Joint Music Program of Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, and 61传媒s presents The Claremont Concert Orchestra performing symphonic works by Brahms, Chin, and Schumann.
There will be two performances. An evening concert at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. on March 5.
Concerts will be held in Garrison Theater at the 61传媒 Performing Arts Center.
The program includes a newly commissioned concerto for electric guitar & orchestra; the world premiere performance of A Jazz Band Concert, composed by Pablo Santiago Chin, plus
Brahms’ Tragic Overture, and
Schumann’s “Spring” Symphony No. 1.
Admission is FREE and open to the public.
